The Annual Beaufort International Film Festival features the up and coming talent in the film industry with lots of activities for the art and movie lovers. Presented by The Beaufort Regional Film Commission the festival typically runs three days and provides visitors with many unique experiences giving them a glimpse into the magic of movie making in the beautiful setting of downtown Beaufort, SC.

This year more than 100 entries from over 24 countries entered and 21 film finalists were chosen for the competition. Movie Screenings for the competitors are shown throughout the day and a $5 per movie or $20 dollar pass is typically offered. In addition to movie screenings you will want to attend the Awards Gala where awards are presented to the winners of the feature, short, documentary, student, and screenwriting films. The event also provides, movie making panel discussions, concerts, art galleries and film site tours.

With over 20 major motion pictures set against the backdrop of Beaufort, SC its no wonder the Beaufort International Film Festival is so successful every year. The mission of the Beaufort International Film Festival is to develop a rich appreciation for the art of filmmaking and every year it continues to overachieve in this goal.
