A Taste of Beaufort returns in 2009 with two events that are sure to keep you entertained and well fed. On Friday, May 1st A Taste of Beaufort presents, "Shaggin' With A Taste!" Admission is free for this event where a dance floor will be set up under the Pavilion. Gates open at 6pm with the Beaufort Shag Club providing a tutorial at 7pm. Some of the areas Shag Clubs will also be having demonstrations.

Then on Saturday May 2nd, The Main Event begins. Almost 20 restaurants will be serving all your Low Country favorites, like Shrimp Burgers and Crab cakes for example. Traditional favorites like chicken wings, pizza, hot dogs, and more will also be present. The participating restaurants will be serving from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm.
